Tank-Meister: Finden Sie die günstigsten Tankstellen in der Nähe
Tank-Meister is an iPhone app developed by Bitbull GmbH that helps users find the five cheapest gas stations in their current location. Alternatively, users can search for the cheapest gas stations near specific locations.
In the settings, users have the option to save multiple query locations. For these locations, the app will search for the cheapest gas stations in the vicinity every time a query is made. If the current location is not to be queried, users can deactivate this feature.
The star rating indicates the freshness and reliability of price data. A brightly glowing yellow star indicates very recent data, while a fading yellow star indicates older price data. An empty star means that the data is considered outdated by Tank-Meister or that the gas station is currently closed.
Preferred gas stations, which can be defined in the settings, are marked with a violet star instead of a yellow one.
To query the cheapest gas station near the current location, users must have location services enabled (Settings -> Location Services -> Tank-Meister). Manually entered location queries also work when location services are inactive.
The specified distance is the straight-line distance from the current position to the gas station and may differ significantly from the actual driving distance.
